How can I edit the name of a managed resource in Resource Management

When I go to "People", and try to edit one of the managed resources in Resource Management, the name is greyed out and says This person’s name, email, and profile picture are managed in Smartsheet. Learn more.

When I change the name in the Smartsheet Contact List, it doesn't update in Resource Management. Why is this?

You need to update the information in their user account through the Admin page. Changing a Contact List is only changing your personal contact information and doesn't update anything in their user account - which is what Resource Management is looking at.
