Single sheet ownership transfer within one Workspace

Hi @Genevieve P. ! I work with a consulting firm, and I need to transfer Ownership a single smartsheet within a large workspace to one of my clients. I have tested this a bit based on what I read in these forums (Instructions: hover over a user's name, grant them ownership) and have not been successful in reproducing the steps. Do I have to share or make them an Admin on the workspace first? I am concerned about confidentiality of other client's information other sheets in the workspace if I have to do this. Help! Thanks, Philip

Hey @PMCroome
Why not have your client create a workspace within their own instance (where they are the owner), share you to it as an Admin, then you can drag the item over into their workspace?
This would give them full visibility, keeping you shared to it, while removing out any possibility of sharing your other items π

Hi @Genevieve P. ! When you say "drag the item over into their space" can you be more specific? What are the actions I need to take? Thanks!

Hi @PMCroome
Here's a Help Article with step-by-step instructions π Move an existing item to or from a workspace
From the Browse menu (folder icon under Search), you can drag-and-drop items from one place to another.
