    Hey @Amelie

Here's the most helpful link to bulk actions that i could find
    https://help.smartsheet.com/topics/Bulk%20Management/Brandfolder

What you could do is create a Custom Field in the settings called "Amended File Name" (or something to the like), then you can either bulk edit the custom field using the method above, or export the assets in CSV format, amend the CUSTOM FIELD (Amended File Name) and import.

You can then display this custom field below the asset.

For leveraging Smartsheet to manage metadata, the would need to use Smartsheet to insert/inject/add their assets into Brandfolder. You create a sheet with all of the metadata fields as columns, then, when you link the sheet to Brandfolder and use it to upload assets, it will take the fields from Smartsheet and populate the corresponding fields in Brandfolder.

    Hope this makes sense

    Follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Assets: Go to the folder or collection containing the assets you want to rename.
    2. Select Multiple Assets: Hold down the "Shift" key and click to select multiple assets or use the checkboxes for each asset.
    3. Open Bulk Actions: Once you’ve selected your assets, look for the "Bulk Actions" menu, usually found at the top of the screen or in a dropdown after selecting assets.
    4. Choose Bulk Rename: In the Bulk Actions menu, there should be an option for renaming. You can then set new naming conventions, patterns, or numbering for the assets.
    5. Save Changes: Apply your changes and the selected assets will be renamed accordingly.

If you need more advanced renaming features (like adding prefixes or custom sequences), you may need to explore the custom fields or use Smart Rules within Brandfolder. If bulk renaming is not available directly in your plan or integration, you might need to leverage Smartsheet's capabilities in managing metadata for assets, or consult Brandfolder support to confirm feature availability in your Core Plan.

Thanks for your help Evan but when selecting the bulk action button in the bottom pannel it is only possible to use bulk for tags or custom fields.

Could you please provide more details on how I they can "leverage Smartsheet's capabilities in managing metadata for assets"
