Cross Functional Dynamic View Automated Workflow Alert

I have a sheet with a dynamic view for each department to fill out their appropriate section. There is an icon where they can request a meeting. There is an automated workflow that will email the team that the meeting request flag was selected. Is there a way to only have that triggered once? Some people will return to the dynamic view to update their section and it's continuing to trigger the meeting request automated workflow.
