How do I prevent the Workspace panel from opening automatically?

I was the first to report this and looks like I started a buzz! I appreciate all of you who agreed with the annoying "improvement." I have not noticed it happening this week. Thanks to Smartsheet for listening and fixing it.

The workspace panel still pops up for everyone in my org as well, and my org doesn't enable access to the Smartsheet support portal for users at my level.

Why is the workspace panel opening again everytime I open a sheet or report or dashboard. I thought this feature had been turned off. Please turn it off and rid the earth of it. Worst idea smartsheet has invented!

Interestingly enough on the 31/10/2024 i am experiencing the same problem with the workspace panel opening automatically every time i open a sheet - quite frustrating! This has been reported as resolved but is still occurring :(

Georgie, please communicate to your developers to KEEP this "feature" disabled this time. I have wasted too much time closing this panel every few minutes yesterday and already this morning. Obviously others feel the same way. Thanks.

This was fixed for a bit after this post - but as of today it is popping open again every time I open a new sheet, report or dashboard. Please disable this feature - once I close it I would like it to stay closed unless I request it to be re-opened - this is extremely frustrating and time consuming and ineffecient.

Even after @Isaac A.'s post a few hours ago saying it was fixed - it is still doing it on my system. How do I get it to close on my system?
