WORKSPACE PANEL - Automatically open when going to a new sheet / report / dashboard

Following up with @Georgie’s previous note, I'm glad to share that the workspace panel defaulting to open has now been resolved. You shouldn’t see it popping up unexpectedly anymore!

The workspace panel is continuing to cause quite a lot of frustration across our entire enterprise. When will the bug be fixed so this will not open on every sheet?

One of the comments left previously was why not have a way to add this as an option in personal settings to use or not use.

An addition to this would be to see if after enhancements are passed in EAP that System Admins review prior to the entire company platform be impacted.

Seems it was fixed (again) back in October, but starting for a third/fourth time around this morning. Just me? What is happening that this "bug" keeps getting added back, is anyone doing regression testing?

Hi @DdLund

The Workspace Panel will open as a default on the first instance of a sheet being accessed in a Workspace. If you then dismiss the Panel on that sheet and navigate away, it should now stay closed when you come back to that same sheet.

However if you go from that sheet to a different Workspace and sheet that has not been accessed yet, when you navigate there the panel will open for you to decide to dismiss it or not.

Are you seeing the Panel open again on the same sheet after you have dismissed it, navigated away, then navigated back?
