A recent change in image quality of new and existing graphics on Dashboards?

I created Dashboards that we use as one-stop info and links portals for our stakeholders and clients. I created text graphics that I upload as images to the Dashboard and then hyperlink the image to the Smartsheet item or website. This visually appealing graphic interface has resulted in a huge buy-in for Smartsheet in our organization and our external partners. Recently, the uploaded graphics have all gone blurry. Some images that were scaled to fit and looked good originally now have part of the text cut off. I didn't change anything. I've tried replacing these images with higher resolution images that I scale to fit, images scaled to their actual size, using different programs to generate the graphics, pngs instead of jpgs, and the result is the same. The Smartsheet text and widgets remain sharp.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a new secret to keep uploaded jpg and png images sharp on dashboards?

For example - graphic image for title bar with Smartsheet graph widget below (widget lack of sharpness only due to screenshot):

This is how they looked not that long ago (any lack of sharpness below is due to it being a screenshot):

    Hi @jham3829,

This is super interesting, I haven't seen any other threads of people calling this out but it's clear from your images. I wonder if the SmartSheet team started compressing their images different behind-the-scenes.

I would recommend reaching out to the SmartSheet team directly, since you'll need somebody from the SmartSheet team, ideally one of the engineers, who can answer this question.
