Help changing the sheets in the Internal Communications Management Template Set

Hi, I downloaded this Internal Communications Management Template Set and customized the sheet with the columns, categories and dropdowns I need for my project. Now, the other files in this template set haven't adapted to my new sheet and it's not allowing me to change the "sample" data that was pre-existing in those files. I had to tweak the original sections and need to have that data pulled into the reports and dashboard from the set. Please help me troubleshoot this issue. Thanks!
