I have some project with a lot of sub task, that I can visualize in my project progress gantt, and I use multiple selection to assign resources to different tasks and I use a formula allowing me to check a column dedicated to each employee. I don't know how to retrieve this information to be able to display the Gantt per employee.

What do you think is the best way to do this?

    Hi,

As there is only one Gantt chart per sheet but Gantt charts can be also shown in reports.

Why do not you create reports for different users from the same sheet and set up there to show gantts?

You will lose hierarchy but you will see the gantts in the reports for different employees.

  • thanks for your reply,

This seems to be a possible solution despite the disadvantages of loss of information…

my first idea was to create a sheet dedicated to employee time tracking, but feed it through my main page, but I couldn't figure out how, configure everything so that each date is added , it would have taken a function a bit like the pivot table in Excel...

    Hi,

Well cell linking would be the answer then but it means a lot of manual work first. So you can have different sheets with same data, keeping structure and having Gantt - luckily you can link many cells at once.
