Uploading a PDF with comments to a proof

I am looking to see if it is possible to upload pdfs with comments into a proof or within Smartsheets in someway to make it easy to see and address comments.

Our current process reviewers and QC does not use smartsheets and it would add an extra layer of work/time to have our PMs add every comment from the review into the smartsheet proof. So the thought is to be able to upload these pdfs with comments into proofs and they auto populate or at least be able to hover over to see these comments. Any ideas?

Oooo…that's a tough one. It IS possible to take a marked up pdf & "print" it as a pdf with a comment summary. However, this won't display the comments on the pdf page directly. The comment summary prints as a separate page that follows where the comments were left. (If you have a different version of Adobe than I do, maybe you have more functionality there?)

Alternately, you could attach the pdf to the row…but then of course each person would need to download the file to open the comments, and reattach a new one if any changes were made.
