How to add a hyperlink to a form field?

Hello All,

Trying to add a hyperlink to a form field and it will only allow me to display the complete link?

Any ideas?

You just want to display OR you want the people to be able to use the hyperlink ?

If it's just to display the link, I would use a HEADING field.

If you want the hyperlink to be functional:

1. I created a column just for that (type flag so it's no infos to capture).
2. In the form, once the column is added, paste the hyperlink in the description/help section.
3. Once pasted, select it again, then click on the little chain in the little tools just up and SAVE.

It works perfectly !

Just have to inform people using it that they have to come back after to finish the process of completing their form.

Thank you @LyndaRousseau! I want people to be able to use the hyperlink and it want it to be titled Click Here for them to access it. I don't want the complete link to show just the hyperlink.

Back story: The form is for a freight received form, the hyperlink I want to put in is a link to a client ordered freight received form because I need it to populate on a seperate sheet.

Then instead of putting the full link in the description, you put CLICK HERE, you select CLICK HERE, and then you put the full link in the little windows that appears once you have clicked on the chain.

@LyndaRousseau In the Enter Link box? It doesn't change to say Click Here?

You have to type "CLICK HERE!" or whatever you want. Then, select it and click on the chain. then enter the hyperlink in the box and save.

And after all my tests, it works better with the HEADING element. This way, you don't have extra columns for nothing in your database.

Don't forget to put a note in your form next to CLICK HERE reminding them to come back to complete the form.
