Hello - It would be nice if we could add a secondary axis to charts to show additional data points in one chart. Attached is an example of this ability in excel.

Please add combo charts as an option in dashboards.
Hi @Mark Gerrish,
Status updates from the Product team at Smartsheet can be seen on page 1 of the Idea, in the yellow bar immediately below the original post:
This specific idea (secondary axis in charts) is not currently on the short-term roadmap, but they are gathering feedback posted as comments on this thread to take into consideration for future Dashboard releases.
Cheers, Genevieve
I just wanted to come and leave a comment to support the need for this functionality.
100% YES
Some basic improvements to chart capability, like a secondary axis, would be a great improvement to what is offered today. I'm surprised Smartsheet hasn't prioritized this basic functionality yet. It's a small step that will make a huge difference to users of graphs and dashboards. Down the road, adding some basic filter options to the dashboards (that could be applied to multiple graphs) would be a great enhancement as well. But, let's start with the graphs first! Thanks!
Hi @Jumana Bowes and everyone else who commented,
The Status of this idea has been changed as of today! This is now on our Roadmap and you can see the message on page 1 of this post - thank you for your continued feedback.
I got around this by doing curved line charts, and filling in only the KPI results, and then keeping the target as a straight line - e.g. not filled in. Not the perfect experience, but a work around for now.
Upper Limit and Lower Limit for Specification process controls would be a great functionality addition to graphs / chart content
Could you please add a stacked bar chart with a line for secondary data? Right now I can only generate a combo line chart which is very hard to read. Thanks.
This charting capability is essential. Agree with all prior community comments. Smartsheet please prioritize and provide as soon as possible. No more workarounds for this! Thanks
This charting feature is crucial. I support all previous community feedback. It’s great to know that it’s in the roadmap! Hopefully, it will be prioritized and delivered soon, as there is no workaround for it yet. Thank you!
Having the ability to add a benchmarks to a chart to see if the metrics pulled from the sheet are above or below what is expected would really help with KPI tracking.
It would also be helpful to see overall trendlines (maybe even overlaying a bar chart) to see overall trends in data.
I would really like to see charting within dashboards expanded to provide more analytical views. Currently I am looking at charting and would love to see the ability to add a line chart within a column chart. IE show counts of projects over financial volume or other trend lines.
Has there been in movement on adding another axis to the smartsheet graphs? It somehting I also need and unable to find away to do it. Cheers Simone
Hi @Genevieve P. ,
Does smartsheet team has any update in this request? Any plan to release these option soon or does it has been discarded?
Kind Regards
I rely heavily on Smartsheet’s Document Generation. However, this workflow is currently dependent on having photos stored inside cells, since row attachments alone cannot be used directly in document generation.. If Smartsheet allowed attachments to be displayed as thumbnails in cells (as a reference), document generation…
I’d like to see user analytics for WorkApps. I’ve checked the user report available in the Collaborator Pack, but it only shows how many times someone has clicked into the WorkApp each month. I’d like to know: Which resources (dashboards, sheets, forms, etc.) are getting the most traffic? Where are people spending their…
Hi There, I would like to propose that Smartsheet considers the email subject header that is received from a Smartsheet notification from a form or sheet. Currently, because not everyone in my company has Smartsheet, let alone a Smartsheet log-in, we need to send show the name of the owner of the sheet, that appears on the…
