Cancel sending as attachment before it sends

  • I have a similar problem however the inital report hasn't been sent yet so nothing shows up in the Sent to panel. How can I cancel the automated send before the first date in the Delivery schedule has occurred?

    Hello @Chuck M. @System

    To stop receiving the automated report, open one of the report emails and click the 'unsubscribe' link. Then, input your Smartsheet email credential and click OK. This should immediately halt future report deliveries.

    Hi @Chuck M.,

    Having tested on my end, as soon as a scheduled delivery has been set up in the Send as Attachment window, it appears in the “Sent to” box, and you therefore have the option to either delete it or edit the recurrence (by hovering over the description and clicking the down arrow). 

    If you have set up the schedule for the delivery but haven’t entered any email addresses/users in the “To” box, it won’t be added to the “Sent to” box, since it’s not fully set up as there’s no recipient yet.

    However, if you had entered a recipient, it might be that another user has already deleted the scheduled delivery - my testing confirmed that other users shared to the report (even with Viewer permissions) can view scheduled “Send as Attachment” deliveries and have the options to Delete or Edit Recurrence.
