anyone else not able to view resource utilization in project sheets?

this issue has happened before but right now i can't see resource utilization in specific project sheets. if i go to gantt view and click the utilization button it is only showing that project, not all projects a resource is scheduled on. it's a leveling nightmare and causing so many inefficiencies. anyone else experiencing this?

I haven’t personally run into this issue, but I came across a related discussion here: Resource Management Panel not showing all of the managed resources involve in the project. Could this be the same issue you’re experiencing?

hi! not, quite. it's not syncing in the project sheets to the resource utilization. so when i'm in a sheet it's only showing me that project. suppose snips would help

See how in the project sheet it's only showing me the one project? it's just causing so many inefficiencies having to safe, refresh project sheet and utilization, do it again, so on and so forth. driving us mad over here

If Resource Utilization isn’t displaying across multiple projects, check that all resources and projects are fully shared across sheets and visible. Sometimes Smartsheet’s views default to sheet-specific data, so confirm you’re in a view that includes all projects. Since syncing delays can also cause this, try logging out and back in or adjusting your refresh timing to see if that helps.

interesting… i've never seen a setting that will default to sheet specific project data.. can you help me locate that? i don't think it would have anything to do with sharing and workspaces since it's project sheets living in the same workspaces utilizing the same resources and we are all of a sudden running into this issue across all teams. so i think it's an overall syncing issue. sometimes we can refresh and it'll show up all projects, but it's been going on days like this and our typical refresh is not working.

You're right—there isn’t an actual setting in Smartsheet that defaults Resource Utilization to sheet-specific data; it should show resources across all shared projects if they’re set up correctly. Since this issue is happening across multiple teams and refreshes only work intermittently, it does sound like a syncing problem rather than a permissions or sharing issue.

Given the persistence of this problem, I’d recommend reaching out to Smartsheet Support to see if there’s an ongoing system issue or delay affecting Resource Management. They may be able to check for any backend issues specific to your account or workspace.

yea i submitted a ticket to support last week but they're slow to respond… i haven't heard from them yet.. reached out to our rep and also not getting back. well, i appreciate you seeing if there was anything i could have been missing.
