How to Display Field Data Without Hyperlinks in Smartsheet Automation Emails?

Hi - I was trying to find a workaround to this exact issue (to provide a link to the FAQ sheet. I wouldn't mind including the field so there is an actual hyperlink to click on, but is there a solution to have fields displayed WITHOUT the link to access the sheet made available/

Hi @Trang Turtletraxx,

If I’m understanding correctly, you’d like to include fields from your sheet in automations, but not the sheet link. Currently, the only way to remove the sheet link from automations is to select “Message only” in the automation. 

I found a similar product idea here: Option to Not Include Sheet Link on Notifications - please add your vote to this idea if it matches your request. You’ll then receive updates when the status of the idea changes!

However, you could use placeholders within the message so that you can include row data in each alert - more information can be found here: Customize your alerts and requests.
