Latest Comment column disconnected, still not able to create new or recreate
I followed the process in the post "Can't select Latest Comment in the edit column properties", disconnected the Latest Comment, Saved/Refreshed, renamed original Latest Comment column, refreshed again, then Inserted Latest Comment (via comment ellipses). It created the Latest Column column but it's not marking it as Latest Comment (using text/numeric). This won't allow the most recent comment to appear.
Any way to get it to work?

Sounds like you've tried the typical steps to reset the Latest Comment column. I would try fully deleting the column (not just renaming), saving, refreshing, and then re-adding it through the comment ellipses.
Clearing your browser cache or switching browsers can also sometimes help. If it’s still acting up, it might be worth reaching out to Smartsheet support to see if there’s a fix on their end. -

@Kathy PPT my support ticket is 07853831. They are saying no bug, but i am seeing a bunch of post stating people had to do the same thing you did. Delete the column and add it back. In the last month, I have had to do this for two sheets. Smartsheet seems not to look into it. Maybe if we give them each other tickets and they see it's multiple companies they will look into it more? I really need this fix as it's making my users doubt smartsheet in general.
