Unable to open smartsheet backups

I have a few workspaces scheduled for recurring weekly backup. These backup downloads used to work perfectly , until we started to notice a change in how these downloads were available to us.

I understand that I need to use the link from the "Smartsheet Backup Complete" and follow the procedures set.

" Click here to navigate to your backup.

Click on the menu at the top of your workspace and select 'Backup now', or right click on the workspace, and select 'Request Backup'.

Select 'View Recent Backups' to review the backups generated in the last 7 days.

Select 'Download Backup' to begin the download. "

Once I download and try to open the zipped folder, I am receiving an error message.

" Windows cannot open the folder" . The compressed folder …….zip is invalid. " .

Has anyone faced the same error? If this has already been addressed, please help me with the link to the solution .
