Postmortem Templates

One of my coworkers asked how to utilize a postmortem template he found through a Google search. It is on the website, but I can't find it listed in Templates when I search directly in Smartsheet. It also looks like no other template I've seen in Smartsheet before, and the article it came from is dated in 2020. Has anyone else come across these and used them? If so, how??

The only piece of this listed as being available in Smartsheet is the Post Project Survey Results, and I would honestly say that it is not set up following what I would suggest as best practices. I would use the screenshots provided as a starting point to figure out where to start, but I wouldn't suggest relying too heavily on anything in that link.

Thank you for your response, Paul! They are all very very different from anything else Smartsheet offers. I have already gotten the team moving using a standard survey template, but wanted to understand the use cases as well as the "how" in case anyone else in the company comes across these and tries to implement. I at least try to make sure I know why I'm telling them not to use something that appears to have come directly from the company. Thanks again!

If you look, you will see that all of the other templates are only available in Word, PDF, and / or Excel. Without the API, the premium add-on Bridge, or another third party app that allows you to sync data across platforms, you are looking at duplicate entry in multiple places. Only one of those templates is in Smartsheet, and even then it requires a fair amount of regular manual intervention just to be able to maintain it. There are other ways to set up a form in Smartsheet that don't require regular maintenance just to be able to pull metrics and whatnot.

Even something as simple as ditching hierarchy and entering the project on each form submission means not having to manually move every submission around. A report that is grouped by Project would provide the same visibility and not require any manual intervention (once built).
