Elapsed Duration with 'e' Adding an Extra Day and Ignoring FS Predecessor

Same here - I have a 5-day week set in gantt, but use "e" to capture the weekend, since only a few tasks need to include weekends. But the predecessor is ignoring the FS, essentially adding a day to the duration.
so if my predecessor ends today, the next task with e2 includes today instead of starting tomorrow. See below clip:

Unless you have it set up differently, when you use an "e" it starts on the same day as the finish in the predecessor, but those without the "e" start the following day. You can read more about it here:
