  • Hello,

I'm received a similiar issue from my organization which I'm trying to fix. I can see all the items in the "Deleted Item" folder, but I have two questions:

    1. Where are the folders? I can only see the items (about 40), but not the parent folder and the subfolders…
    2. If I recover all the items at the same time, they will be moved to the "Sheets" section or there is a way to restor the original folder and it's structure?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Evelio Barea,

When folders and workspaces are deleted, the items they contained are “emptied out” into the Deleted Items folder - the folders and workspaces themselves cannot be recovered.

However, you can drag and drop the items from the Deleted Items folder into folders/workspaces to recover them. That is, to recreate the folders/subfolders and recover the sheets, you have the following two options:

    1. Recover the sheets by going to the Deleted Items folder, selecting all required sheets, right-clicking the selection and selecting Undelete. This will move them to your Sheets folder. Then, recreate the folders and subfolders and move the sheets from the Sheets folder to the folders/subfolders.
    2. Recreate the folders and subfolders first, then go to your Deleted Items folder, select all required sheets and drag the selection from there to the relevant folders/subfolders.

You can find out more about deleting and recovering items in the help articles below:

    Thanks,

    Georgie

  • @Georgie Thank you for your feedback!

Yes, I was aware of the deletion/"undeletion" process, but I had the hope of an process to recover also the folder structure, because I'm trying to fix an issue that involve a large number of items and subfolder… Actually, I'm thinking in provision the whole structure again from SCC and then restore the most important items to copy manually the information.

    Thanks again Georgie!
