How do I switch between Set A Reminder and Create An Update Request

I have a sheet which only has the option to Set A Reminder for updates.

I want it to be the option for Create An Update Request so that I can set up recurring emails.

How can I make my sheet have the option for Create An Update Request?

(I'd rather not have to create automations since we have multiple people of varying Smartsheet ability who will need to set these recurring emails themselves.)

To switch from "Set a Reminder" to "Create an Update Request," ensure the column types in your sheet support Update Requests. Update Requests require editable columns (e.g., Text/Number, Dropdown, or Date) and cannot be set for read-only columns like Auto-Number or System Columns.

If your columns are compatible, the option should appear. If not, adjust the column types as needed. Keep in mind that Update Requests allow users to respond directly, while "Set a Reminder" is purely a notification tool. Let me know if you need more help!

Thanks but that didn't work. I deleted the only 2 autofill columns and it did not change after being saved and refreshed. The only other column options were Text, Dropdown, Date, Contact List, and Checkbox

I was able to come up with a single automation that, while not as flexible as the Update Requests option, it will serve for now.
