how to open a default blank sheet with no additional option

1. I hate your new layout. you left out the open a simple sheet with no frills!
2. I want to create a default sheet with no extras or automatic add ons like I was able to in the past,
3. where is the default black sheet setting? I just want to open a blank sheet and use it like I have in the past.

I am also bit resistant to changes (and I am annoyed as well) but I think Smartsheet knows what they are doing.

Look at Apple, Microsoft etc. they are changing their UI all the time as well making people who work in their tool for years crazy.

I know my words are not helping at all but in this crazy world we need to learn how to embrace the change.

I just want to chime in here and make sure you know you can still create that blank sheet 🙂

The Home page with "Start a new project, program, or process" button will show a number of different templates you can use to start off with, creating a new Workspace to house these items.

However it sounds like you may want to add a blank sheet to an existing Workspace or to your Sheets folder. In this instance, you can do so from either the Workspace Panel:

Or from the original Workspace browse view:

The Product team is looking to hear your feedback as they make changes to the Smartsheet application! You can do this in two ways:

• Use the bullhorn icon if it's visible on the page:

Thanks but, Smart sheet doesn't know what they are doing, 20 years I have been using it and all I have is a forum. Putting you to work so they do not need to provide support to pro users. No phone a lame chatbot that is. You are not being paid for answering my question, yet happy to do it for a multi-million company? That is how they make the money. Push it onto their customers to figure out. that doesnt cost them a dime but it costs you $$.

Look if I need help and have a client in the wings, I cant wait for a forum answer, I need help relatively quickly before the client gets pissed and I start sliding backward on a gig.

Now that Ford or other BC use smartsheet they could care less about small users who brought them here and advocated others to use it. Well NO MORE.

I will not be advising anyone to use smart sheet for medium business ever again.

The support system is worthless.
