Automate Attachment Delivery

I need to automate the delivery of an attachment (using the document generator feature) to a contact list once a row is marked done. The contact I need to send to is not a Smartsheet registered user. Is there a way to send the attachment without using the sheet link?

You can use the update request.
https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/504773-sending-sheets-rows-via-email
Use an update request if you need someone to edit rows on your sheet, even if they don't have a Smartsheet account.
Please customize the message so that you don't include the column that you don't want the receiver to edit.

Email received.

When the recipient clicks the "Open request".
