Chatroom Template?

I am being asked to develop a solution for a large team doing customer implementations (around 30 a week at different sites) where the customer and the onsite project team could function in a chatroom-type setup to submit questions and get answers rapidly. I have already created a ticketing system where customers can submit questions and get answers. Still, without a full-time Smartsheet administrator, I would manage the multiple teams and sites that may use such a format. Open to any ideas or solutions that others have developed.
