Can time be automated by hours in a Smartsheet column?

Hello, for a few days I have been trying to automate time, not by days (because in smartsheet automations time is automated in days when recording a date) but in hours, so that through automation or a formula, a time can be recorded when a cell is modified, and at the same time those hours can be operated on, adding or subtracting hours, I would like to know if that is possible? If there is a formula or method to be able to record hours in columns and at the same time perform operations with them.
