Timeline is such a good feature, with a straightforward entry, as well as color edit.
What isn't available is being able to export it on to PowerPoint or Excel.
When is that coming?

Any update on this @Genevieve P. - it is a very useful feature but far less helpful if we can't export to PowerPoint as much as I'd love not to!
Seriously it needs an export function!
Totally agree. The timeline view is awesome, and exporting the view to PowerPoint is a need-to-have for us. Would love an update on when this will be deployed. Thanks!
This would be extremely helpful! Please consider adding it to the functionality.
Export function would be hugely helpful! Would love to see this added as a feature!
Currently, if I want to print the Timeline view, I have to do a screen capture. I would like to save my Timeline as a PDF (at the very least).
Upvoting this one because I don't need or want to export a Timeline to PDF myself (no idea what the use case would be for that), but I've just had a request from above for a PDF of a Timeline and had to say "sorry, can't do that".
Request to allow the Timeline view to be exported to PDF.
everything everyone else has said before me!
Absolutely would love this ability!
This upvote thread feels like a placebo. The timeline feature has been out since 2024, users asked for an export almost immediately.
As one of the system admins, it is absurd to me that I cannot view or have access to all of the items created in my organization. We have over 11,000 reports, sheets, and dashboards and I can't see them. I have no visibility to if people are using our plan for their own personal use, or what kind of work is going on unless…
I noticed this the other day and tested Ctrl + M – it does not work. I submit ticket to Smartsheet support – they told me that’s expected behavior because it’s not currently available even though it still shows as keyboard shortcut in the menu🙄 and told me to submit new product idea. Please add this keyboard shortcut to…
Summary of Issue All team members work a standard 7.5‑hour day, but only a portion of that day is allocated for project work (e.g., 25%, 50%, etc.). In Resource Management, however, the system currently interprets allocations as a percentage of the full 7.5 hours, instead of the project‑eligible portion of a person’s day.…
