Rolling 12 Months and Rolling 4 Quarters Formulas for Dashboard Charts

Hello,

I have a metrics sheet that has static start and end dates for each month of 2023 and 2024. The requirements changed for the dashboard and management wants the dashboard charts to show data for a rolling 12 months and a rolling 4 quarters.

This screenshot shows the column setup and formula I have for calculating the number of closed inquiries each month.

The closed inquiries by quarter formula sums the Closed Inquiries for the months in that quarter.

Would I set up a formula to calculate the rolling month start date and rolling month end date? I don't know how to set up the quarterly formulas either, so any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

You could pull the data into a report, then just have the report pull the dates that are within the last 12 months/3 months. Then the reports would constantly update, which would update the dashboard.
