Showing Start/End and Duration at top of project
Hi!
This is sucha noob question, but I want to have the first row of my project worksheet (grid view) keep track of the start and end date (based on the dates in the rows below, my project plan) and automatically calculate the full duration of the project in this row. It needs to update the information as I make changes accordingly.
How do I do this?!?!?

Hi @JoshEyes
You can use the Parent rollup functionality.
When dependencies are enabled on a project sheet, parent rows automatically roll up information about their child rows in several sheet columns.
The demo sheet below is editable in the Duration columns in the child rows. You can check the top row duration changes as child duration changes.

Oh, I see! I needed to make my first row (which I use as the title for the sheet) an "overal dependant" and then all rows under it shifted so that the first row shows the duration and dates below… hard to explain, but thank you for your guidance!
