updated forms and how to trigger approval process when resubmitted

Hello,

how do i know who receives the updated form when requestor resubmit the request that was initially declined? and how do i set the receiver of this request?

Also Need help in coming up with a workflow that triggers approval process when requestor resubmit a request that was initially declined by approver

Hi @fmugendi,

You can set options for what happens in an approval workflow when the request is either approved or declined by clicking the + under “If Approved” or “If Declined”, as seen below:

You’ll then be able to select the action that occurs next - whether that’s alerting someone, sending another approval request, sending an update request, or something else. All the different actions can be found here: Action blocks: Specify what automation is triggered. If you’re sending alerts or update/approval requests, you can set the recipient for them within the workflow.
