Access in a Smartsheet to their specific clinic only

We have Sheets with Clinic names on them. I only want the people from each clinic to see thier stuff when they clinic their link to access the sheet. The also need the ability to update 3 fields without have editing permissions (If that costs extra money). Two or three people per clinic will have access to their info within the sheet.

I currently have 1 license in our dept.

  • Thank you so much. That would be an option if each line was assigned to someone however it is currently not the case. If I had to do that I would need the ability to put multiple contacts in one field. They are going to have a dynamic view at their disposal and their clinic to work through. I am trying to avoid too many update requests. We currently will have one on-demand if nothing is done by a certain date.

    @Cydney70 just ti understand everone has already assigned tasks in the sheets? So in this cas you could use a report on current user ? Or even prepare a user specific. dashboard… ?

  • Nobody is currently assigned to tasks. What I don't know is the best way to do it. Or if there is a manageable way of doing it. 107 clinics with multiple lines and multiple teammates that will be working their own clinics work. During a initial meeting with them I was told it could be done. Now that I am at that point, I am not sure which way is the best or if there is a "best" way.

  • I am not sure I understand the question. There will be anywhere from 2-5 team members for each clinic.

    I was able to make a database sheet with the Assigned to for each clinic and now I am trying to get the INDEX MATCH Formula to pull in the Assigned to contacts in the current sheet. But I manually assigned some contacts and shared the dynamic view and they only see their clinic. Thank you
