Automation for Notifying Contacts After Two Days

I want to notify the people in the contacts column two days after they're assigned to a task. I tried to set this up but it was asking for a date column. I cannot use a date column in this instance, or I would like not to if possible. I just want the automation to update the people in the contacts column 2 days after I've assigned them. Is that possible?

You would need a date column for this. You can always hide the date column if you do not want this column visible.
