how to fix #DATE EXPECTED from collect formula or index

I am using the collect function to pull a start date from a project sheet (which has project setting enabled) with two criterias.
first criteria is to reference a task name and second criteria is pulling another column

@Carson Penticuff Hi Carson, i changed my formual from collect to index + collect and it is working now. Not sure why that made a difference. Thank you for replying.

It looks like the source data is not formatted as a date.
