Can Not @Mention in Comments

I have an unlicensed user who is shared to a workspace as Editor. She is trying to use @mention in the Conversations but it will not populate with the person she is trying to @mention. Is this because she is unlicensed? I can not find any information in Smartsheet Help that would restrict this.

Is that @mention email shared to the sheet where the comment is trying to be made? If the person they are trying to @mention is not shared, the name will not appear in the @mention suggestions.
Please let me know if this solved your problem.
Thank you,

Thanks Adam - Yes it is. It is very odd because this is the only sheet/workspace she is experiencing this with. (same credentials across sheets)

Hello - I'm having the same issue. Trying to @comment an editor that the Sheet is shared to, however their name doesn't pull up. Also tried typing out their email, but to no avail. This is a new issue for us. Any suggestions?

Hi,
A colleague has been added to a sheet as an editor, but is unable to use comments. When they click the comment icon, an error is displayed saying that they need commenter permission to add a comment. She is added to both the sheet and the workspace. Can anyone help resolve the issue?

Hi
Having the same issues, names not auto populating and then askes to share the sheet while the @mention users are already shared to the sheet. This is happening more and more now it seems. Mostly from collaborators outside our org.
