Can you preserve password protection in .pdfs that are attached to a form submission?

My colleagues need to submit Smartsheet forms with password protected .pdfs attached. The form submissions are being received as expected, and you can see the attachment in the proper row but when you go to open it (either directly or after downloading), an error message pops up, "We can't open this file. Something went wrong" and there's no option to enter the password for the file. Are these types of files not supported by Smartsheet?

Thanks @Michelle Choate 2 . Turns out it was an issue with Microsoft Edge. All fixed!

From everything I have read online, password protection should be possible. If you continue to run into errors with sheets properly password protected in Adobe, then you might consider having a link to upload to a OneDrive, then a spot to place the HTML link to the OneDrive file.
