Why isn't my email notification being sent?

I have an automated workflow set up to alert someone (several people), triggered to run once at a specific time. I need it sent to notify people to complete a form.

I tested it several times when setting the sheet up by sending it to myself, but now that it's live and is supposed to go out to several people it's not working. It shows it as ran, but no one receives the email.

I have unrestricted automation permissions set up (it will be going out to several people outside my organization).

Does anyone know why the notification isn't sending now?

I just set one up and tested it. It worked without any problem. I didn't however allow it to run on it's on automated schedule.

Have you tried testing it recently?

When you open your Automations menu, there is an option to run the automation now. You can try that, and instead of the users listed in the automation, you can have it to send to yourself. You can click either Run Now or Test Now, and you'll get the same menu.

If you don't want the users to receive the alert: click the "Send notifications to myself instead" option, and then click "Run Workflow". You should almost instantly get the email.

If you want to see if a manual run will send it to the users specified in the automation, just click "Run Workflow" without checking the box to send to yourself instead.

@Ray Lindstrom thanks! I tried both, and they didn't push out the message, either.

I deleted and started over, and the team still hasn't received the email. What's so frustrating is it was working yesterday morning, and now that we want to go live it's not… :)

@Ray Lindstrom - Did you ever resolve your automation issue? I am having the exact same problem (ran the automation in testing with no problems. No it has just stopped working.) If your issue was resolved, would you mind sharing how you fixed it? Much thanks!

It wasn't me having the issue, but instead I was helping another user. They never followed up with their results. Not sure if they got it working or not. Hopefully they did.
