Smartsheets Malfunctioning After January Microsoft Edge Update

Hello All,

Is anyone else experiencing issues with smartsheets on their microsoft edge browser? After the lastest update my grid is no longer picking up the color conditional formatting. This color conditional formatting works on the mobile app and on google chrome but does not work on the desktop app or microsoft edge browser.

    A few things you can try to troubleshoot:

    1. Clear Browser Cache & Cookies

    • Go to Edge Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data
    • Select Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data

    2. Disable Hardware Acceleration in Edge

    • Go to Settings > System and performance
    • Toggle Use hardware acceleration when available OFF
    • Restart Edge and check again

    3. Test in an InPrivate Window

    • Open a New InPrivate window (Ctrl + Shift + N)
    • Log in to Smartsheet and check if the issue persists

    4. Check for Edge Extensions

    • Some extensions might interfere with Smartsheet’s rendering
    • Try disabling them one by one and refreshing Smartsheet

    5. Update Edge and Smartsheet Desktop App

    • Ensure Edge is on the latest version: Settings > About Microsoft Edge
    • If using the Smartsheet desktop app, try reinstalling it

    6. Reset Edge Settings (If Nothing Works)

    • Settings > Reset settings > Restore settings to their default values
