Hey team, trying to find a way to populate a row id or row link in the cell. Is it possible?

Column Type "Autonumber" essentially creates a Row ID. You can control the format of the Row ID that's automatically generated - I try to use a shorthand of the project I'm building (for example, if a "Sales Operations Time Sheet", I might use "OPS-TS-0001" as a format - that way if something becomes an issue down the line, I know what project to troubleshoot for if someone shares that Row ID.)

I'm not aware of a way to generate a row link automatically using the Core suite. As I understand it, there's a way to do something along those lines using Bridge, but that's not a premium app I have any experience with.

    Good luck!

Hello. well it does not create a row id for the link to access it.

As I mentioned, what I described does not create a link, but a configurable Row ID - usable essentially as a unique key as with any standard database schema. But does not tie to the row link itself; that's generated more deeply in the sheet than is generally accessed with the Core alone. If your specific use case requires generating a link automatically, you might need to explore Bridge.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to give you success with your specific case. If there are other dimensions you need to consider as you implement possible solutions, I recommend providing as complete an explanation as possible of your specific use case - perhaps using screenshots or other ways to share as much as you're able with the Community without compromising your data privacy. That way, your individual situation can be approached with the most knowledge and specific situation.
