Cross Sheet References Randomly Removed

While this is rare, occasionally I have a few cross sheet references that simply vanish. I try looking into activity log and resource manager but find nothing. The references are just gone and then I have to create a new one. Anyone know what may have triggered this or if it's a known bug?

That has happened to me many times, and I haven't been able to figure out why. Even on a file that nobody else has access to make changes to. I have to re-add them for my formulas to work. It's really frustrating.
