Pie Chart using aggregation and words in one of the columns
My question is in two parts:
- I want a pie chart to display the percentage out of 100 that a certain field is. For example, if I have ten values in a column that are one of: "State", "Federal", "Community" where there are 3 State, 3 Federal and 4 Community.
- Right now, it won't let me use words at all, so I have to put a numeric value to them (1, 2, and 3). Instead of it showing up as three entities on the pie chart, it shows up as 10 separate entries.
Thank you in advance for your help.

@samgenson Is this what you're trying to produce?

YES!

So I made a pie chart off of this data: to get the counts you can use a report and do a summary on the "type" OR you can use a countif formula. Do you need assistance with creating either of those?
State
3
Federal
3
Community
4

Yes, unfortunately, I do.
