Published Dashboards for external customer facing websites

Does anyone know of any Smartsheet users who has used published dashboards that include metrics, reports (published), and clickable interfaces on an external customer facing website? Basically, does anyone have some real life use cases of utilizing published dashboards from an organization to the public?

I could really benefit from seeing some of this in action

Yeah I published my dashboards many times and those work pretty cool. It shows widgets, work as links for external data etc.

but why do not you just create simple dashboard just to publish it - open in incognito and play around?

I am hoping to get some real use cases to see how others have made their public facing dashboards look professional. I wanted to click around and see how they did it. Could you perhaps share any of those with me?

I do not think anyone working in a corporate company would publish a dashboard with sensitive data inside and publish it here… in community.

here is something old I created long time ago and filled with dummy data at some point.

thanks @kowal - hopefully there is someone else out there who has a published dashboard on a public facing website. Really hoping there is some use cases out there… does not have to be sensitive data (I completely understand that), just data a company wants the public to see and utilized Smartsheet published dashboards to showcase that data on their website

Hi @Matthew Campbell,

Many have published publicly just as @kowal shared.

However there's not much that can be clicked around on within a dashboard unless someone has used URL links which would just take you to another site. You won't be able to click and view settings for the dashboard or anything like that. Dashboards aren't interactive like Power BI dashboards.

Thanks @Ray Lindstrom , I was hoping some examples with published dashboards with clickable widgets that could open up other published dashboards or published reports would simulate something to the extent that power BI or Tableau could do.. I guess all there is left is to play around myself :)

hi @Matthew Campbell and @Ray Lindstrom I think the Smartsheet dashboards are mostly internal corporate tools just to show the status to the wider group but inside the company. I do not think that anyone is creating websites based Smartsheet as the graphics are pretty limited and the data is mostly very sensitive inside.
