How can I change the Schedule to view at a project level not task level?

In Resource Manager, I'm looking for a Schedule view or a Report that will show me people, the projects they are working on and the allocation on that project, but I would like the view to exclude the task level. The basic Schedule view of People and Assignment Details would work well if I could find a way to remove the task level detail and leave a single bar for the project.

There currently isn't a way to exclude tasks from the schedule view. I found a similar idea post here: Resource Manager - On schedule view allow a rolled up view of effort per project. Please add your vote to this idea if it matches your request. You’ll then receive updates when the status of the idea changes!
