Hello, I would like to move a Smartsheet object from one folder to another

Hello, I would like to move a Smartsheet object from one folder to another. The Knowledgebase says I should be able to right-click and select "Move", but that is not in my context menu. I am an admin. Does anyone else have an issue with the "Move" menu item missing from your selection options? If so, how did you resolve it? Thanks

What are the object/s in question? If (a) you're only talking about core assets (sheets, reports, dashboards) and (b) you have sufficient sharing permissions in both source and destination locations, you can use the Browse window and just drag things from Point A to Point B. The more intertwined an item is, though, the more of an issue it can become. For example, if the thing you're moving is an output from a Pivot App workflow and the person who built it doesn't have sufficient sharing permissions to the new location… it'll fail.

Thanks Kerry, I did some experimenting with some sheets and workspaces and it looks like our issue is ownership related. When you are an owner of both the sheet and the workspace, you have no trouble dragging and dropping. I would say our question is answered and I appreciate your insight as well. Paul
