Is there a way to revert the report to a prior version? Deleted filters

I deleted a few filters from this Smartsheet 15 min ago, and we need them back. Problem is, I don’t remember what they were.

hi @JessicaD,

even if you setup the backup for your worskpace I do not think you can recover the filters.

You can open ticket with Smartsheet and provide them with the Sheet ID saying to create a copy somewhere for you and if you are lucky they will provide you with the deleted filters.

This is the only solution.

@kowal Thank you. I wondered if they could since it's a report. I tried to see if I could go back using the activity log but it doesn't work the way a sheet does. I ended up opening a ticket with support.

JessicaD now I also see it's report and sheet so I did not have such situation… but maybe they have a copy as well of reports and how it was configured before.

Update: Unfortunately, this is not an option in reports. I was aware that you could check the activity log in a sheet and report, however, a sheet will give you the option to request snapshot. This is not an option on reports. Also since this has to with filters those are not recoverable on reports; the filters are not recoverable on sheets either when using the request snapshot option. The owner will receive an excel file (data and comments only).

Goodnews is that we have 18 sheets feeding into this one report and have several other reports for different departments looking at the same information (department specific). I mirrored what needed to be filtered and I was able to create the deleted filters.

I did hear that we could start backing up the workspace which may help in the future.
