Reports Duplicating Columns with Identical Column Names

Happy Monday Community!

I am building a report, and I am trying to understand why I am getting column name duplicates when they are exactly the same. Both sheets are built off of a template so they should be exact matches, and I checked both sheets and the column name spelling is exactly the same. I even copy/pasted from one to another to see if that would resolve the issue, but still the duplicates are appearing. Any thoughts on how to resolve this? TIA!

@SMacey Good afternoon! Out of curiosity, within those individual columns did you by any chance change the parameters of what can be displayed there. For instance, in a dropdown column you can have "Multi-Select" or "Single-Select". It will treat those as separate and distinct columns, even if everything else is the same.

Ah ha! That did the trick! Looks like someone changed the column type to "Text/Number" from "Dropdown". Amazing, thank you so much!
