Analytical Lab Management

Does anyone use smartsheets for analytical laboratory management? I have just started and am eager to see what others have done.

My company gets testing requests for LC-MS targeted analysis, total fluorine analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, etc., and each request comes with a set of samples. I want to streamline the sample intake process and build out project forms to make it easier to see what samples need certain analyses, what company made the request, etc.

Have you had a look at our Template Gallery? You might find something there that suits your needs - perhaps the Project Intake template set, for example. This includes the following template items:

• Intake sheet with form
• Project Tracker sheet
• Report that pulls in data from all project tracker sheets
• Dashboard that shows data from all projects
