Incorrect time from system column on generated document

  • I am having an issue with the modified time pulling into the generated PDF incorrectly. The sheet says 3:26pm but then populates as 11:26pm in the generated document.

    Did you check the date/time setting on your device and smartsheet account?

    It is weird that it is an 8-hour difference.

    I am seeing this same problem but it is recent. January 6th everything was still good as it had been for over 2 years. January 9th my records in generated documents started being off by 6 hours (I am in central time). No documents were generated January 7th or 8th, so I don't have an exact date, but the window of things going awry is within those three days.

    Hello @mgsmith . The question right before this one had the same issue. The issue is using the Created or Modified Date/timestamp - it is hard coded in UTC time. So when it is pulled into Document Builder, it is using the hard coded data rather than your user settings to timezone preference.

    Hello @mgsmith ,

    I checked on a Data Shuttle. The logs are in UTC, but, that is the default run frequency time zone.

    I recommend navigating to the ProDesk and Open a Support Ticket to get more clarification on the system data format standards and if there is a setting or option to localize.
