Is it possible to have a report base a filter on a cell value?

Just for clarification, you want to build a Report to pull row records in when a Column = Specific Value?

Not a column, but a specific cell on a specific sheet. That way when the folder is duplicated and the cell is updated, the report updates automatically. Not enjoying having to update every single report manually.

Oh, I see what you are saying. I am not aware of this functionality yet.

If there is no other thread you can find asking about this, then I recommend submitting an Enhancement Request.

Thanks to @Erin Horiuchi Green for your prompt response - you’re right, this feature will need to be requested. 

However, the best way to do that is to create an Idea Post in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic here in the Community. This will allow other users to vote on your enhancement idea!

I actually managed to find an existing idea here: Filter Report Based on Cell - please add your vote to this idea if it matches your request. You’ll then receive updates when the status of the idea changes.
