row not locking

Hello,

I have set up automation that when row is changed, "Picked up by" column is filled in, the row will lock. It did for all, but not for row # 2. See below please. what can be wrong ? thanks,

That's strange. That has never happened with me. I see that row # 9 is also not locked. Is it because the Picked up by column is empty for that row? Can you check activity log to see if you are able to spot any exception?

Yes, row 9 makes sense because there is nothing populated in "Picked up by".

Its a daily log, so the sheet is already daily archived. If it happens again, I will reply here.

actually, i did some digging in the audit history: here in red is where the person added their name after which the row never got locked. My interpretation of this is: this entire trail is the same user (publish user), the sequence of actions is bottom to top. im not sure what the last 2 mean: conditional formatting unapplied, and applied.?
