Hello!

Is there a setting that automatically expands the widgets as the lists in the widgets I added to the dashboard grow?

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to have widgets automatically expand on a dashboard. Here is a great resource for the different widget types and some of the customizations you can make: Add and edit widgets on your dashboard | Smartsheet Learning Center

A few workarounds you could try is making the dashboard view larger so you can fit more data. To do this, click on the pencil to edit the dashboard, then click the expanded arrow by the Cancel/Save button.

A word of caution with this option, once you expand the dashboard view, you cannot undo it (I learned this the hard way), so I would recommend using a test dashboard to see if it's something you like first.

You could also utilize some of the sorting features or report filters on your data source, so only the most recent or most critical data is displayed.
