Difference Between Licensed User and Unlicensed User

Hi! I have an unlicensed account, but I found that I can use templates, create sheets, create dashboards, and adjust views (gantt view, etc). The only thing that I've found that i can't do is edit reports or create new templates. Other than that, it seems like I have a lot of capabilities. Is this because a licensed account give me Admin access to their workspace or do all unlicensed accounts have these features? Thanks!

Is it possible you are on the free trial? Otherwise, if you are able to create and own assets, you HAVE to have a license somewhere.

Hi @Paul Newcome it looks like I don't have the free trial or a license. I was just given 'Admin' access to my company's workspace:

If you are able to create and own assets and are not on a free trial, you HAVE to have a paid license somewhere.

@Paul Newcome My company has a paid account and then they assigned me, an unlicensed user, Admin permissions to their workspace. Is that why?

Is your company on the new user subscription model? If so, you would have been automatically granted a provisional license.

@Paul Newcome I have the log in access to the licensed account and I checked. I believe we are on the legacy model and when I look at user management, it shows that my personal account is not licensed at all but when I'm logged into my unlicensed account, I am able to create sheets and such. This only happened after I used the licensed account to grant my unlicensed account Admin permissions to a workspace created by the licensed account. I'm not on a free trial or anything either.
